FAQ
Yes, we require an adult to child supervision ratio of 1:4. Juniors 10 – 15 must be supervised by an adult either up on the ropes or following them at ground level. We have pathways following all courses to allow the supervising adult to encourage and guide the children at all times.
Your safety is our utmost priority, and the combination of our safety equipment, safety training and qualified staff will ensure you have a safe and enjoyable time with us. We use a smart belay system, to ensure climbers are always attached to the safety line at all times.
Yes, if you feel like you cannot climb any further, or if you encounter difficulty, our trained instructors are on hand to lower you to the ground at any point on the course. Kindly note No fee refund.
You are able to leave the resort to go to the bathroom or get a snack, but you must return within your 1 hour time slot. You must remove all your climbing equipment before leaving the resort. We recommend visiting the bathroom before checking in with us.
Kempty Lake Adventure Resort has its own car parking. Remember to bring your ticket with you, and present it at the entry gate.
Participants are required to wear enclosed shoes while climbing at Adventure Obstacles/ Elements. As you will be wearing a harness, we suggest wearing long pants or long shorts to avoid the harness rubbing directly on your skin. All jewelery and watches must be removed prior to your climb, and lockers are available in the Kempty Lake Adventure Resort. Finally, long hair must be tied back in a pony tail.
